“Best Value” Guarantee
Until now, we have relied on our famous “best value” guarantee which promises that we will refund double the difference, plus an extra $50 to anyone who can find a lower quote than ours, even if the other quote is a “special”. In 15 years of having this promise, we have only ever had to pay out once, proving that our prices have always been and remain better than anyone else’s.
Well, from time to time, on selected vehicles, our “better than anyone” pricing gets even better. Our discounts are a “double whammy”, if you book a featured car during the month in which it is featured, you will receive a 10% discount off the car rental value relevant to your booking – irrespective of what dates you rent the vehicle.
Furthermore, if you make a booking request in any month for a car that is featured in the month in which any part of your rental occurs, you will qualify for the rental discount.
If you make a booking in May 2018 for usage in (say) August 2018, you can choose any of the following vehicles to receive your 10% discount.
- Yr2014 Hyundai i20; Yr2010/11 Nissan Tiida; Yr2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid (May 2018 Featured Vehicles)
- Yr2013 Hyundai i20; Yr2011 Dodge Caliber; Yr2016 Nissan X-trail (August 2018 Featured Vehicles)
Whilst we call it a "Double Whammy" discount, you actually have a choice of 6 vehicles for your discount and if your rental term was partly in August and partly in September, you would have another 3 choices for your 10% discount (the cars featured for September).
If you request a featured car and it is not available for the term of your rental, we will offer you a 5% special discount on an alternative vehicle.
The “fine print”
Your rental term can be for any period, but the discount will only apply to the first 14 days of rental, as longer rental periods already have a built-in discount. Discounts do not apply to rentals during the months of December or January in any year.
The discount does not apply to the administration fee component, any usage zone fees, any accessory hire, any out of hours service fees or any insurance excess reduction fees, all of which will remain at our normal prices, which of course, are the cheapest in town.
The quote that you receive will not include the discount. Simply select "Yes" to the question "Have you selected one of the Featured Cars of the Month?", to request the Featured Car of the Month special discount. Our confirmation will reflect the appropriate price reduction.
