Departure procedures for renters flying from Gold Coast Airport (OOL)
From Rental Car to Aircraft - it's very easy
Most of our interstate or overseas visitors maintain their rental until the day of departure and just as we do when people are arriving, we give them a solution, no matter what time of the day they are flying out.
The choice is simple, you can use our free shuttle service during our operating times or you can leave the car at the Gold Coast Airport, Coolangatta (OOL).
After you have dropped off your vehicle at our office, we offer a transfer from our Currumbin Waters office to the Gold Coast Airport, Coolangatta (OOL). The shuttle leaves our office on the hour and on the half hour, by appointment with customers who wish to have a free transfer to the Gold Coast Airport (OOL).
Where these arrangements are not convenient to our customers, we provide a service where they can leave the rental car at the airport for subsequent collection by us. As is the case with arrivals, this service is subject to a modest surcharge.
Minimum time between departure from our Currumbin Waters office and scheduled flight departure:

Procedure for Departures
Early morning returns should be parked in the SHORT- TERM CAR PARK shown in yellow on the map and evening returns should be parked in the Covered P1 : LONG - TERM CAR PARK, shown in orange on the map. The return procedure for dropping off vehicles at the Gold Coast Airport (OOL) will be fully explained upon collection of the rental vehicle.
Where a customer requests that they be able to return the car to Gold Coast Airport during our normal operting times bypassing our transfer service, the relevant fee will be $37.50.
Security Bonds (less payment card fees) will be refunded to your credit or debit card when we collect the vehicle and check it out – banking procedures mean it will take several days to get to feature on our customer’s credit or debit card statement.
