We have chosen Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world, admitting more than 11,000 animals last year. The critters can’t help themselves, so we must look after them when they are injured or distressed.
We are a nation of animal lovers and when one of our family pets becomes ill or is injured, we don’t hesitate to seek professional help to get them back to good health. Unfortunately, our wildlife critters don’t have a family network to watch out for them – if it were not for organisations throughout Australia just like our local Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, we would lose so many of our precious wildlife to car hits, domestic pet attacks, fishing hooks and line injuries, and disease.
